We did a lot of research into this brand but we could only find one main type of baby monitor that they sell. Whereas some brands make it their aim to supply lots of different types of monitor, First Alert has managed to dedicate itself to providing a video monitor.

And if you have read the news recently you will know that baby monitors and other wireless items do have a habit of interfering with each other.
Some people have also stated that it doesn’t give out a buzzing noise when there is no sound from your baby. If you have experienced this with other cheaper baby monitors then you will probably really enjoy the fact that this one does not have that on it.

The only First Alert website we could find focused on home safety products; none of the items included had anything to do with baby products at all.
Your best bet seems to be to go to any other reputable website that sells the First Alert baby monitors on their behalf. We did manage to find a US site called First Alert which had a range of other products on it, but even then we didn’t find any baby monitors.
Luckily though, the First Alert name is stamped on several monitors that you can find for sale on lots of different websites. This means that once you have tracked down the exact model you want to buy, you can read the information about that model on that particular website. It seems to be the easiest way to proceed with buying a First Alert baby monitor.
In conclusion
There was a time when baby monitors used to mean the audio kind and nothing else. But that time has clearly passed, and with brand names such as First Alert on the market there is certainly a good choice of video monitors now available.
The only question is which one will you choose for your own needs? First Alert could be just the one for you and your baby.
